“Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.” – Kurt Vonnegut

Feeling stressed? Going through a difficult time? Looking for something new and different, or feeling a need to revitalize? Rob’s Hope may be the vehicle you need. We invite you to join us on a journey of healing and self-discovery as we dabble in creative arts. You don’t have to be an artist; it’s ok if the thought of doing anything even remotely artistic is scary. The goal isn’t to create a work of art, it’s to use creative exercises to release, relieve, and stretch your wings – and to have fun in the process. It’s the journey that matters, not the destination!
“Throughout the Western world, people are gathering to create together in groups…Millions of people are turning to creative writing, painting, dance, pottery, and music as a form of soulwork.” – Shaun McNiff, “Trust the Process”
Rob’s Hope was founded in loving memory of Robert G. Viti.
